The Rose which is at the west end of the park and is a public space designed for commemoration, celebration and contemplation as well as having a central Cenotaph.
Also is the Pyramid of Light, a sculpture set on an increasingly elevated embankment and also serves as a beacon
It has also held music concerts in past years and there is also find a cricket pitch at the East end.
The Park has been listed grade 2 by Historic England due to its historic interest and innovative architectural design.
There is free parking and is also close to the main shopping areas and Xscape which is an indoor ski slope entertainment complex.
