Father's Day fixed menu-portions were good but the food lacked flavour and oomph. 2stars less for this. It was alright if you were hungry. The person who served us was attentive. Ambience was great and special! Views across Milton Keynes and Campbell park lovely.

1st time visiting for the Father's Day 3 course lunch. Staff were well presented, attentive and very pleasant.

Venue speaks for itself. Wonderful views to enjoy, especially on a warm sunny day, and the interior is equally nice.

Most importantly the food was excellent. Great flavours and you can tell there are quality ingredients involved. Even on the set menu for the day there was a nice selection of different dishes.

Will definitely return again to try the a la carte menu.

Wow! Incredibly bad. On paper, this has everything going for it. Good food, interesting view. In practice it's ruined by terribly bad service. We arrived to be seated by a leaky roof, with a view into a the cupboard where high chairs are stored. Can we please move to one of the many free window tables? "No, we're fully booked". Ok, but I'm one of those bookings, I booked a week in advance and the whole time i was there at least 4 of those tables were free. The first words from the mouth of the server are "you have to order at least two courses". OK, I know that, it was made clear on the booking. How about "welcome to Fourteen" for an opening line? Wait 30 minutes to be offered a drink, then wait while the waiter tries to open the screw top wine with a cork screw. Music is incongruous and too loud. How about the bar afterwards? Don't make the mistake of walking to the bar - you'll be sent off to find a table where you can spend another 20 minutes waiting to get served. I...

Only thing nice about this restaurant is the view.

The restaurant was okay overall, the experience felt unnecessarily awkward when speaking to staff. A lack of flexibility and unclear information left a poor impression. Wouldn't recommend.

Booked a table for my wife's 55 birthday . Invited guests .
Then recieved an email just saying sorry we have cancelled your booking we are no longer doing lunches .

We visited the Restaurant about a week ago with family visiting from abroad, and it was a really enjoyable evening. The location on the top floor of Hotel La Tour gives it serious wow factor - the panoramic views over the city at sunset were a big highlight for everyone.

The food was well presented and full of flavour. I had the pan-roasted chicken with truffle mash and mushroom sauce - rich and well balanced. Others went for the steak frites and seabass - both nicely cooked. We also shared small plates like salt & pepper squid and whipped feta with honey, which were light but tasty.

Cocktails were creative and well made - definitely worth trying if you're into mixed drinks.

That said, there were a couple of small downsides. Service was a bit on the slow side - we waited longer than expected for drinks and mains, which was noticeable. Also, portion sizes for some of the mains felt a little light, especially considering the price point.

Certainly a great place to go for a fantastic vorw across the city. The staff were polite and there was a nice atmosphere.

The only issue is that the food, although nice, is expensive.

Lovely place to sit. We ordered bacon sandwiches. Sadly the bacon was cold. The bar was practically empty, I politely asked the lady who was serving if she would mind taking a picture of us all and she rudely said she was too busy which was embarrassing.

Nice views but the service needs a major check. Jilani gave an extreme attitude and killed the entire vibe. Kieran was very nice and attentive despite the unwelcome entrance. Wouldn't recommend.

Excellent food in a great place; a wonderful view accompanied by a fresh, tasty menu. Recommended.
