Great Pub. We initially decided to go because they are dog friendly and that was it. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed the staff are all lovely. Car parking is great, all areas of the inn are clean, bright and comfortable. We went here for New Years Eve and had a great night. The teamwork is fantastic and organised. We didn’t expect much of the food for New Year’s Eve with it just being burgers, scampi chips etc but the burgers were delicious, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food.
Despite not being our nearest pub it is now our new local and well worth the 30 minute walk. The staff and atmosphere make this place. Well done for putting on a great night.

Came here for a roast dinner and it was so delicious! Don’t normally like roast potatoes but these ones were so tasty. Would definitely recommend and would come here again. Service was quick and friendly

The grilled seabass fillets and the shepherd’s pie were absolutely delicious, with lovely vegetables and piping hot. Still room for a dessert as well. Good choice of non alcoholic drinks. Excellent service. Easy to book online.

Don’t recommend the lasagne, as you can see it was soupy. Husband enjoyed the posh fish & chips though. Peroni was alright as well

Reserved a table for two and upon arrival I was greeted with ‘follow me mate’. We were sat down in a rather noisy and rowdy area of the pub when we would have preferred a quieter area in order to enjoy our date night. I politely asked a member of staff if we could be moved somewhere else, however no other tables were available.

We promptly ordered our food and drinks. It took 45 minutes for a burger and chips & halloumi and chips to be served, which caused us to not only ask a member of staff where our food was, but also to order a second round of drinks. They charged £7.10 for two pints of coke and £12.49 for halloumi (two small finger strips of halloumi) and chips, we both felt this was extortionately priced and left feeling ripped off! Burger and chips were nice, but not worth a revisit. We were never asked if our food was nice, so didn’t have the opportunity to complain.

We were disappointed by the small portions of food, noisy seating area, long wait times for basic food and high prices.
