We visited Alders Farm Gun Range during the cold winter months, and it was a great experience. The indoor area was well heated, which made shooting comfortable despite the weather outside.

It's a family-run business, and they genuinely make you feel welcome...almost like part of the family. A really nice touch was being offered hot drinks with biscuits, which added to the warm, friendly atmosphere.

They provide a good variety of printed target sheets, including animal-themed targets, which keeps practice interesting. The guns were well maintained, and the scopes were perfectly calibrated. There wasn't much need to compensate when shooting..what you see through the scope is exactly where the shot lands. As long as you have a steady hand, you can leave the physics behind.

I believe they have four shooting stations available at a time. If you come as a pair, you take turns shooting back-to-back, which works smoothly.

Overall, great place, great guns, and a great time. Highly recommend it. They also run a league system that you can work towards qualifying for, which is a nice bonus for regular visitors.

I booked a two hour session on the indoor range, to test different pellets with my two air rifles.
The range is good, particularly the target system is excellent; which allows one to quickly change the distance the target is from one. The lighting is satisfactory with good brightness.
As a casual visitor to the range at Alders Farm, I was made to feel most welcome, had hot drinks and a refill of my PCP air rifle.
I also purchased some QYS pellets for a good price.
I recommend Alders Farm for air rifle shooting.

A really fun experience. Went there with my 16 year old daughter, so not exactly their normal customer, and she really enjoyed it. The guys there were friendly and helpful, and we both had a great time, and will certainly return.
