I never write reviews but feel compelled to due to my experience with City Apt. The flat itself was good, but I have tried to contact this company numerous times over several days and they're near impossible to contact. Emailed me when they claimed they'd not received the keys I'd returned even though I had returned them, so clearly able to contact when it suits them, but I have tried to contact them every week day since and no answer. Not worth using them incase you have to contact them. The worst company I've ever dealt with in terms of customer service & communication.

Communication is really really bad. In well over a dozen attempts to initiate Communication no one has ever answered the phone.
Been waiting just about a week for my deposit to be returned via bank transfer.
The apartment was decent enough for the price a bit dated but generally fine. The pickup/drop off keys was about 10/15 min walk which isn't the most convenient.
Wouldn't recommend based on Communication alone, it's just non existent and completely unacceptable.

Apartment itself was okay rooms were tidy and clean, good space but we were left with no instructions of how to find the property on key collection so drove around for ages not knowing where we needed to go. With it being bank holiday we were unable to call the office. Once we found the underground car park (there was no mention of this being where to park in the key collection info) the fob wouldn't work to open the car park gate (also didn't work when we left). Luckily residents were entering and leaving at the same time so managed to get in and out.
We had no WiFi in the apartment and when I text the mobile number in the welcome pack no one responded.
Clearly people who live on that floor smoke in their apartments as the apartment smelt of smoke and was fusty smelling on arrival.
Bed was uncomfortable but was manageable for a one night trip.

When i arrived the main window was open and i could not close it - the apartment was freezing. The heating control did not work. I rang the emergency number - left a message - still waiting for a call back.

Lots of broken or damaged areas like toilet, cupboards and sofa. Not safe for little children. Location and Parking only plus points
