MacIntyre Coffee Shop in Great Holm, Milton Keynes, is an excellent hub for the local community.
As well as being renowned for its exceptional service and diverse menu, the Coffee Shop also provides a learning opportunity for people with a learning disability to gain new skills.
Following strict health and safety and food quality guidelines, people we support take part in:
– food preparation, including cooking and baking a variety of dishes;
– customer service, which includes taking orders and serving customers;
– money management, which includes processing orders through the tills and taking payment for orders and turn taking and supporting their peers.
