Moore Place Hotel, BW Signature Collection

We came to this hotel with children to have a proper rest and relax, but instead we got stress and a sleepless night.
The soundproofing here is completely nonexistent. The music was blasting as if the speakers were placed directly inside our room. Some host kept screaming into a microphone nonstop, and the sound system was so terrible that we could literally feel the bass vibrations through the room. You can hear absolutely everything: the music, people shouting, every single noise.
The children could barely fall asleep because of this noise. We contacted the staff multiple times, and each time we were told it would end at 10:30 PM. In reality, the noise continued until 11:40 PM. Nobody solved anything, and nobody offered any compensation or alternative solution - just empty promises.
The room condition made things even worse: peeling wallpaper with visible seams, and a cockroach lying in the bathroom corner. For a hotel that claims to be a place for relaxation, this is simply embarrassing.
The breakfast selection was also very limited. There was barely any choice, and the only vegetable available was a roasted tomato.
I absolutely do not recommend this hotel for families with children or for anyone who expects to rest and sleep properly.

not only a stunning hotel but fantastic personable and outstanding help from the reception staff; Shayne not only helped me with admin tasks but went over and above to help and assist me in achieving what needed to be done. Very nice and clean hotel and the rooms are very spacious and in a very nice location with near bye pubs and restaurants

Rooms are not bad, but the staff are absolutely fantastic. Terri and Charlotte delivered a fabulous service, perfect pints with a beaming smile.

If this review was based on the staff that work in the hotel it would be 5 stars. Reception, bar and restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful. The evening meal and breakfast were good.
However, the room that we stayed in was well past its best. Tired and in urgent need of a deep clean/refurbishment. The windows were dirty and covered in dust/cobwebs, a part of the seal had fallen off. There was a layer of dust covering the television and bedside lights. The bathroom smelt musty with an extractor fan that didn't appear to be working.The tile grouting was very mouldy. The top of the wardrobe had some wiring hanging over the edge which didn't look particularly safe.

Great location with extremely helpful staff and reasonable prices. Rooms and en suite are spacious. Would definitely recommend.

Room quite basic but comfy. Staff very friendly. Food was well priced and tasty.

Having travelled from the north but southeners from birth, we had a fantastic stay!! Visiting family and friends, but hotel time was great. Homely, welcoming and fantastic staff. Thank you all. Mr&Mrs Hoath
