My mum visited with her friends on the local Buzzer Bus and she said it was the best place she has been too.
The food and personal service was exceptional.

We are frequent visitors of The Bells restaurant, and at lunch today we were served by a young guy, who said he was quite new (didn't get his name!). He was super lovely, positive and attentive. When we asked for a sausage for our dog, he cut it up and added treats! 10/10 service.
Hello Nel Gliksten, thank you so much for the five stars. The young gentleman is Ben and he is doing a fantastic job of looking after both our human guests and their four legged friends. Do hope you will be back soon.

The bell, has amazing food and reasonable prices, lovely friendly staff who seem happy to work there, a lovely atmosphere and lovely beer garden. I cannot say how comfortable and lovely it was to sit in there have a drink and something to eat. We ate twice in there as the full english for brunch was so good. The dinner that evening was just as amazing and there was a good selection of drinks.
Thank you for taking the time to review us Jennie Bean. Fantastic that the brunch impressed you that much that you came back for dinner. Always great to see that the team warm and welcoming personality is appreciated, and that the food didn't disappoint either. Do hope that you will be back soon.

Poor selection of beers/lagers on tap . For a Saturday afternoon the place wasn't that busy , yet there was hardly anywhere to sit as none of the tables had been cleared from previous drinkers/eaters . Staff very unsociable !
Hi Simon,
I do apologise for your most recent visit to The Bell on Saturday. During your visit, we were experiencing issues with our cooling system on the Aspall's and Peroni lines, which meant these were unfortunately unavailable to pour throughout the weekend. This was due to us waiting for an engineer to attend the site.
I would like to personally apologise on behalf of the team for making you feel unwelcome during your visit. We hope you see this as a temporary blip in our service standards, and we sincerely hope you will consider us again in the future.
If you would like to discuss the issues above further, please do not hesitate to send an email to 4316@greeneking.com.
Kind regards,
The Bell Management Team
