Good cheap and cheerful hotel; outstanding value for money. Good parking, central location. Old building but loads of money being spent on refurbishment as all the upstairs and rooms have been recently redecorated. Helpful and nice staff, small independent business. Good pub wreck bis essentially a sports bar so good if you like that sort of thing. Good range of beers, dtinks and several decent cask ales which are my favourite. A good boozer very popular with locals. Personally I think it's not as good for tourists but perfectly good place if you are on a budget. The very cheap rates include a very satisfying simple cooked breakfast, toast, tea and coffee and fruit juice

Great location. Really friendly polite and helpful staff. Very enjoyable stay. Home cooked food was lovely and very reasonable prices.

We had a great experience at The Swan Hotel. Staff were lovely and friendly. Rooms were smart, tidy and perfect for our stay. Parking at the rear. Breakfast was great. Would definitely stay again.

Large room, comfortable beds, was freezing until I realised someone left the window vents open.
Comfortable beds, still heard the wife snoring though so no sound proofing.
Breakfast was top notch so clean. Love it would deffinatly revisit.

Ok, so this is by no means the swankiest place to stay, but it's clean, (bring your own shower stuff, it isn't supplied) and you won't find nicer staff anywhere. The food is good and very cheap. I did love it and will be back.
