Lovely little boozing pub (no food apart from breakfast on weekends).

Live sport. Decent beer garden away from the road. Live music on the regular.

Been modernised than most of the pictures show too, would recommend.

Easy check in and check out. The attached pub was really nice and the staff were super friendly. We used it as a layover on our way to Heathrow so can not comment on other activities. All I can say is we preferred it to any hotel chain.

No food Mon-Fri room noisy and not very clean can hear fans going all night bed uncomfortable and wobbly bathroom freezing shower leaked onto floor and not very controllable I had to repair the toilet cistern as it was constantly emptying and refilling knocked my head on ruddy clothes hanger bathroom door doesn't open properly door to building needs a good shove to open and is noisy never again I booked because of long days and wanted to eat where I sleep I neither ate nor slept there

Transformed from a doomed declining drinking den into a vibrant community pub and rooms with genuinely friendly staff and owners.

Few hundred yards from Travelodge...ideal..!
Great atmosphere with all age ranges there from young kids with their parents to older customers catching up over a game of cards.
Very clean and tidy with a great selection of beers, ciders, lagers and possibly every spirit you could fit in.
Very small serving bar but it worked perfectly well. Great staff and very helpful.
Recommendations in whiskey from the owner that, obviously, I had to sample.
Everywhere was spotless, including the toilets.
Smoking areas out back and front of building with a great looking beer garden at the rear too.
A great atmosphere all round.
If you're in the area - visit this place.

10/10 recommend, lovely breakfast, reasonably priced and quick service :)
