My son started swimming here around 2 years ago. He started level 1 and then with Sharonn in Level 2, and I honestly haven't looked back since. I've even moved lesson times around when he moved up a level to fit Sharonn's timetable because she has been absolutely amazing with him.
As a parent, paying for 4 x 30-minute sessions with quite a few children in each class, I was worried my son wouldn't get the attention he needed or progress well. More recently, after his ADHD diagnosis, I became even more concerned that he might struggle to stay focused or engaged during lessons.
Sharonn has been incredible. Her teaching is sharp, structured, and engaging, and she knows exactly how to keep my son focused on what he's there to do. She's firm when he needs correcting, but also gives plenty of praise and encouragement at the right moments. That balance has made such a huge difference to his confidence and progress.
My son needs this style of teaching in order to focus and thrive, and that is exactly what he has done. Now heading into level 5 with Sharonn and we both can't wait. We truly couldn't ask for a better teacher. A massive thank you to Sharonn for all the hard work, patience, and supporting our boy.

I had a wonderful experience at this leisure centre. The swimming pool is very clean, well-maintained, and perfect for both adults and children. There is plenty of parking space available, which makes visiting very convenient.

I was also impressed with the classical dance tuition classes. The teacher is well talented, patient, and very supportive, creating a great environment for learning.

Overall, it's an excellent place for fitness, relaxation, and cultural activities. Highly recommended!

Trip classes down for 3 weeks +
No communication as to why, no updates yet its ok to keep taking our full members fees. 90% of mine and my wife's visits are for The Trip. Just buy the the new I-Pad required

Since the new management company took over, the staff at Woughton Leisure Centre have worked incredibly hard to keep everything running despite a challenging start. It's unfair to see negative reviews appearing just a day or two into such a big transition.
I'd like to commend the Woughton team for maintaining a positive attitude, professionalism, and friendly service throughout. Court bookings were reorganised quickly, and pricing was standardised to PS12.50 per court per hour, which is great to see.
The reception team are always welcoming, and the duty managers are constantly on hand, making sure everything runs smoothly.
Transitions are never easy, so well done to everyone at Woughton for holding things together and continuing to provide a great service despite the negativity from some.
