Lovely hotel with classy feel. Hotel let us in to our room an hour early to allow us to get ready for a wedding we were attending in the hotel. Our room was small but suitable for all our needs. There was no Aircon but a fan was included. We were lucky our room was north facing on a weekend when temperatures were at an all time record high.
Plenty of free parking. Nice grounds to walk around. Breakfast was good quality. Staff polite and friendly.
Lovely setting, prompt friendly sevice
Receptionists at front of house were lovely, helpful and took me where I needed to go. Also upgraded my room which was a lovely suprise. The afternoon tea was lovely in harrys bar and kitchen. The biggest let down was the spa, i was very unhappy about the treatment from the spa receptionist. It wasn't welcoming, I was meant to be provided a robe and towel , which I had to ask the massage therapist for who provided at the end of the treatment. I went to buy a product as loved what the massage therapist used and was meant to get PS10 of she overcharged me said it was one price then charged me a different one , which didnt have the PS10 included of. There was a lovely courtyard which i was told to change in, I had not yet checked in which i said ,Found the spa receptionist very snobby. Which put a dampener on the whole trip so opted for room service in my room. The price for the spa and break is a lot everyone should receive the same treatment and lack of judgement who books. Out of all the spas I have been to this probably was the poorest where i was treated.
Lets start with your reception staff. Looking at my husband myself and grandchildren with such distain. As if we where dirt on her shoes, the rooms small and uninviting, breakfast, plates where cold so when we sat down to ate our food, got charged PS10 each for our grandchildren, who had a bowl of cereals ans a apple juice. To be honest the only good thing was our friends wedding. And even then the organisation of clearing the room for the wedding breakfast was a farce, we where hurded like cattle and told in bit to certain turns not to enter the room, even though it had the only access to the gardens at the back. So overall. Not happy we stayed in rooms 265 and 267 the wedding was on the 17th May, 2026.
Lovely hotel, which is welcoming and well equipped. The food is great, too. The standard rooms are rather small.

Hotel is located in beautiful surroundings, with a great village pub around 2km away (easy walk). We stayed in the stables, rooms were nice but the curtains let in way too much light. We were warm and cozy! The bar staff were friendly but could do with some upskilling on what's local and what's not. All in all a nice country stay.
