Travelodge Milton Keynes Shenley Church End

Perfectly adequate stay, but desparately understaffed to leave checkin unmanned without a bell and a remote phone number which was no help at all.

No cooked breakfast available, so had to drive up the road to the Harvester. Room very hot. No lock on bathroom door. Towels rather oderous first day. But clean room and friendly service.

Great place, close to Silverstone

This is a typical Travelodge hotels, basic accommodation that is clean, in very reasonable condition and excellent value for money, especially if you are flexible in choosing what date you stay, (certain dates / days of the week are often cheaper). Some guests have commented that there is no air conditioning and this is true, yet the windows can be opened a few inches and all Travelodge hotels ALWAYS have a large fan in every room ... at least every one I've stayed in over several years, and that's a few dozen. Sometimes opening windows and a fan can Trump air conditioning. This hotel still has baths, (which I love), but all rooms have showers fitted over the bath, so best of both worlds!

Excellent food and service. My first visit since moving from the West. Midlands 45 years ago. Still as good!
