Support Since 2021
Since the collaboration began in 2021, The Getaway Foundation has successfully facilitated 104 free holidays across the UK. These breaks are made possible through the generosity of the charity’s supporters who provide donations.
Creating Positive Memories
The holidays are designed to enable families experiencing financial hardship or other difficulties to spend valuable time together. This support helps them create positive memories and strengthen family bonds.
The City Council actively works alongside local organisations. This ensures that families who would benefit most from the holiday support are identified and referred.
