Community Fun Day in Conniburrow
Milton Keynes City Council is hosting a free Blue Light and Community Fun Day on Thursday, 30 July. The event will take place at Conniburrow Community Field, located on Conniburrow Boulevard, MK14 7DX.
From 11am to 2pm, residents can engage with local organisations dedicated to community safety. This initiative is a collaboration between Milton Keynes City Council, Great Linford Parish Council, and various emergency services.
Discover Local Safety Services
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with teams from Thames Valley Police and Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue. Visitors can learn about their operational responses and how they support the Milton Keynes community.
Information stalls will be present from city council departments and local partners. These include SUEZ, The Parks Trust, Dott, and Crimestoppers, offering insights into their services and community involvement.
Lifesaving Skills and Advice
The event will feature demonstrations and chances to see emergency vehicles and personnel up close. Visitors can also pick up valuable safety advice relevant to the local area.
South Central Ambulance Service will lead defibrillator awareness sessions. These interactive workshops will provide practical guidance for emergency situations, equipping residents with potentially life-saving skills.
