Matthew Bourne’s Cinderella arrives in Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes Theatre is set to host the 30th-anniversary UK tour of Matthew Bourne’s acclaimed production of Cinderella. The show will run from Tuesday 26th January to Saturday 30th January 2027.
This production reimagines the classic fairytale, setting it against the backdrop of London during the Second World War. It tells the story of a wartime romance that blossoms amidst the chaos of the Blitz.
A New Generation of Performers
The cast features a wealth of talent, with Hannah Kremer and Katrina Lyndon sharing the title role of Cinderella. Reece Causton and Rory Macleod will portray Harry, Cinderella’s pilot.
James Lovell, Andy Monaghan, and Kingston Taylor take on the role of The Angel, Cinderella’s equivalent of a fairy godfather. Michela Meazza and Daisy West will play Cinderella’s step-mother, Sybil, with Nicole Kabera joining the tour to perform this role.
The ensemble cast brings the world of 1940s London to life. They include Mark Austin, Benjamin Barlow Bazeley, Tom Barnes Standing, Isabella Chandler, Carla Contini, Adam Davies, Christina Gibbs, Louis Harris, Thomas Ireson, Rosanna Lindsey, Maisie Mwebe, Matthew Petty, Matthew Potulski, Holly Saw, Molly Shaw-Downie, and Shakiera Ward.

Matthew Bourne expressed his excitement for the new cast, noting that almost all the principal performers are taking on these roles for the first time. Michela Meazza is a notable exception, having performed in the original 1997 production.
