Car Fire in Oxley Park

Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service attended a car fire incident in the Oxley Park area this week. Crews from the West Ashland station responded to reports of a blaze affecting multiple vehicles.

Upon arrival at a local car park, firefighters discovered two cars significantly involved in fire. A further two vehicles sustained damage, with one experiencing minor heat damage.

Firefighting Operations

The incident required the use of breathing apparatus by the attending firefighters. They deployed two hose reel jets, a thermal imaging camera, and other essential equipment to bring the fire under control.

In addition to the vehicle damage, approximately five metres of fencing was also affected by the fire.

Damage Assessment

A spokesperson for the fire service confirmed that two cars were severely damaged. One additional vehicle sustained minor heat damage.

The fire service’s prompt response helped to prevent further spread and minimise damage to surrounding property.
