Regional Expansion Acknowledged
Camphill Milton Keynes has adopted a new name to reflect its expanding reach. The organisation will now be known as Camphill Milton Keynes & Northants.
This name change signifies a key point in the organisation’s ongoing development and growth. It follows the successful integration of services previously operated under the name William Blake House.
The updated identity acknowledges the organisation’s dedication to the communities it serves across both Milton Keynes and the neighbouring county of Northamptonshire.
Decades of Community Support
For over four decades, Camphill MK has provided support for adults with learning disabilities. Its mission centres on enabling individuals to lead lives filled with dignity, purpose, meaningful connections, and genuine community involvement.
Currently, the organisation supports more than 100 residents. It also employs over 200 staff members across an expanding network of services.
The move to Camphill Milton Keynes & Northants represents the unification of two entities that share common founding principles and a shared tradition. Both organisations hold a firm belief in respecting individuals with learning disabilities and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives.
Future Vision
Tim Davies, Chief Executive of Camphill Milton Keynes & Northants, stated that the new name accurately represents the organisation’s current scope and the communities it is proud to support.
He added that as the organisation has grown, it has become important to recognise both Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire in its identity. This includes the people who live, work, and build community across these areas.
The integration of services formerly known as William Blake House has strengthened the organisation. It has brought together dedicated staff, residents, and families who share common values and a unified vision.
While the public-facing name is changing, the organisation’s registered legal name will remain Camphill Milton Keynes Communities Ltd. There will be no alterations to the services provided or the commitment to those who receive support.
